How they got their names . . .

We have finanlly settled on names for both of the girls! We're so excited!

Twin A is Morriah Jolie. Morriah means "God is my teacher." Jolie means "pretty."

Twin B is Mirabel Elise. Mirabel means "beautiful." Elise means "consecrated to God."

This took some careful thought and planning. For their first names, we wanted each to start with the letter "M," so that they could be the M & M twins (so special)! Then we decided that we wanted their first names to also be 7-letters long, just like daddy and mommy - Timothy and Jessica. Daddy picked the name Mirabel first because he loves the name and we both wanted to have a "Belle." We both love the name Morriah because of its meaning - "God is my teacher." But then we wanted both girls to have names that meant beautiful - we're certain they both will be! So that meant that Morriah's middle name had to mean beauty. That is how we settled on Jolie. One of our friends mentioned that since both girls' first names are 3-syllables long and our last name is just one syllable, their middle names should be 2-syllables long. Luckily, Jolie fit that description for Morriah. Then we found the name Elise for Mirabel and we settled on it because we wanted both girls to have names that dedicated them to God. After 7 months of deliberation, we are very proud of the names that we have found for our girls - now we can't wait to meet them!! : )
