What a treat! This morning after breakfast, I asked Mirabel, "Are you done eating?"
And much to my surprise and elation, she responded, "Yes, Daddy. DOWN!"
They were not the most clearly enunciated words ever spoken - but each was distinct and identifiable. I am overjoyed at this milestone.
So far we've also been hearing:
- "Yes"
- "Car"
- "Ball"
- "Down"
- "Dadda"
- "Momma"
- "This" while pointing
- "Ruff" in response to the question "what sound does a dog make?"
- "Vrooom" in response to the question "what sound does a car make?"
- "Grandpa"
Great job Babes. You make us proud.
